Hi my name is Allen and I am the driving instructor for AON School of Motoring. I am fully certified by the RSA to teach the mandatory EDT course required before applying for your driving test. Under this course you will be required to complete 12 lessons targeted at learning specific driving areas. To keep track of your progress I will provide you with a logbook which I will sign to prove to the RSA that you have completed your training. QuestionI have a car of my own. Do I have to learn in the AON car or can I use my own?AnswerYou can certainly use your own vehicle if you feel more comfortable in it. |
QuestionI would like to learn to drive an automatic vehicle, can you teach me this?AnswerYes, we offer lessons in both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. If you prefer to use your own vehicle, we can also accommodate that. |
QuestionI would like to do a practice run of my test before taking the real one. Do you do this?AnswerYes, simply get in contact and we can arrange a pre-test lesson. |
QuestionI don't have my own vehicle. Can I use the AON vehicle for my test?AnswerYes. Simply get in contact and the AON vehicle can be hired for your test. |
QuestionWhat will I need to bring with me when taking lessons?AnswerYou will be required to bring your driving licence and your provided EDT logbook to record your session. |
QuestionI would like to book a lesson on Sunday. Can you do this?AnswerUnfortunately no. We do not provide lessons on Sundays. |
